Bhubaneswar: With a pass percentage of 76.98 per cent, boys outperformed girls this year in the CHSE +2 Science examination, the results of which was announced today.
The results were declared by Higher Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra at the Council office here.
As many as 95096 students had appeared the examination in Science stream this year out of which 42886 were boys while 3,0325 were girls.
Total 19,561 students have cleared the examination in first division while 24,164 students got second division. Similarly, 28,968 passed the test in third division.
With 92.23%, Nayagarh registered the maximum pass rate while Gajapati recorded the lowest pass per cent of 43.43%.
Total 41 students including 28 boys have secured more than 90 per cent in the exam.
Around 3.65 lakh students had appeared the examination this year.
