Bhubaneswar: As many as 6, 304 students from Odisha are appearing for JEE (Advanced) 2018 that commenced today at four places in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar,Rourkela and Berhampur.
The all India level test is conducted for admissions into 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and NITs.
Over two lakh students will write in the test from across the country, the result of which will be announced on June 10.
Students reported at the centre at 7.30 am while the exam started at 9 am. The computer based exam is being held in two sittings.
The Paper-I will be held from 9 AM to 12 noon and Paper-II from 2 PM to 5 PM.
Canididates are not allowed to take electronic gadgets like mobile phones, smart phones, digital watches, calculators, iPAD, tabs, geometry box, written or white (blank) paper, wallets into the exam hall.
