Bhubaneswar: The war of words between two senior leaders of BJP- Bijoy Mohapatra and Biswabhushan Harichandan over missing of Ratna Bhandar key is continuing with the later criticising Mohapatra for giving statement without homework.
Biswabhusan who had served as a Law Minister during the coalition Government, said that it unfortunate that Mohapatra is giving such statement without knowledge.
In an apparent reference to Mohapatra, the former Law Minister said some people along with the State Government seem to be worried over BJP’s ongoing agitation over the missing keys of the Jagannath Temple’s Treasury.
On Wednesday, Mohapatra said the BJP was a part of the coalition Government from 2000 to 2009 and said that the saffron party leaders should say whether the keys of the Ratna Bhandar were available or not at that time.
He further said that the party should also make clear what reform measures were undertaken for the temple during that period.
Harichandan was the Law Minister in the Naveen Patnaik Government during the coalition period. The temple management comes under administrative jurisdiction of the Law Department.
