Bhubaneswar: The BJP today lodged complaint at Capital police station in Bhubaneswar and Singhadwar police station in puri in connection with key missing issue demanding stringent action against those involved in the incident as per law.
BJP spokesperson Pitambar Acharya along with some other party leaders including Sameer Mohanty, Surama Padhi, and Lekhasri Samantsinghar lodged the FIR at Singhadwar police station while BJP’s Bhubaneswar district president Harekrushna Khuntia registered the complaint at Capital police station.
The complainant said that Lord Jagannath is associated with the sentiments of every Odia. Ratna Bhandar is the centre of trust of four crore Odia people. The missing of key has hurt the religious sentiment of devotees as well as it brought a big systematic error to the fore, the party said.
So the case may be treated as a cognizable offence and action should be initiated accordingly.
Bhubaneswar district general secretary Sangram Keshari Nayak,Suresh Jena, Santosh Jena, Rasmiranjan Mohapatra were present during registration of the FIR. The Circle president of the BJP will also lodge similar complaint at all other police stations under police commissionerate.
