Bhubaneswar: As the general election is getting nearer, political parties have hit their campaign trail with rallies by the national leaders to woo voters. The Congress which has already organised two rallies addressed by party top brass Rahul Gandhi, has also planned to invite him again in the last week this month.
BJP heavyweights like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, supremo Amit Shah have also visited the State multiple times recently. The saffron party continue to rope in other heavy weights in the campaigning in Odisha.
It is clearly evident from the campaign of BJP that the party has kept Odisha in its main agenda.
As a part of its rallies by star campaigner, the party has invited Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and firebrand leader and UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath for campaigning in Odisha. Besides, union minister Giriraj Singh and Manoj Sinha will also visit the State.
Rajnath will tour to north Odisha on February 17 and Yogi will also hold a rally in Kalahandi. The schedule has not yet been finalised, BJP State president Basant Panda informed.
The BJP has started Parivartan rally in all assembly constituencies, which will continue till March 2, he added.
