Bhubaneswar: Acting tough on the defaulting college teachers who have skipped the +2 evaluation process, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has given them an ultimatum to join the scrutiny of answer-sheet by tomorrow.
At a press meet, CHSE chairman Amarendra Kumar Patnaik said those who will not join the exercise by tomorrow will face disciplinary action.
The Examination Controller has instructed the valuation zone supervisors to lodge FIR against the teachers who refuse to evaluate the papers or obstruct the evaluation work, he added.
Cases of absence on medical ground will be referred to the respective district medical boards, he pointed out.
As many as 5800 teachers were called for the work but 50 % teachers have not turned up yet, Patnaik rued.
Despite strike by block-grant teachers, the evaluation of answer-sheet has commenced from April 4.
