CISF atrocity: Two jawans suspended, camp shifted

Jajpur: The two CISF jawans who had allegedly thrashed students and two teachers of Gobarghati Residential School in Kalinga Nagar in the district on Sunday night were suspended from duty today.
The jawans were deployed as security guards at the TATA Steel Plant in Kalinga Nagar.
Meanwhile, the CISF camp which was adjoining to school has been shifted to Paradip.
Reportedly, the jawans had allegedly barged into school and had thrashed 30 students and two teachers alleging that the students had pelted them with stones.
After the incident, the students along with locals had staged a protest in front of the main gate of the steel plant and blocked the Chandikhole-Duburi NH-200 on Monday.
