Dharmagarh: BJD MLA Captain Divya Shankar Mishra landed in a trouble after a divyang man lodged a complaint with police alleging that the MLA issued life threat to him at a public meeting.
The complainant identified as Tankadhar Kharsel along with members of the Kalahandi Yadav Mahasangh came to Dharmagarh police station and registered the complaint.
He alleged that the MLA had threatened to kill him at a public meeting when he opposed some statements of the legislator at the meeting in Boden yesterday.
Sources said a verbal duel ensued between the MLA and Tankadhar at a public rally in Boden. Irked, Mishra had shouted at him on the stage and asked him to remain silent failing which he will kill him.
Later, the video of the MLA shouting on the stage went viral on social media.
