Bhubaneswar: To strengthen the party base in Odisha and grab power here, the Central BJP continues to focus the State. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah are scheduled to visit Odisha in first week of July.
While Modi will visit western Odisha on July 5 to inaugurate Jharsuguda airport, Shah’s visit on July 1 will be completely a party affair. The BJP workers in western Odisha are gearing up to welcome Modi, who had held a mega rally in Cuttack barely a month ago to present the report card of his government on completion of four years in power.
Similarly, Amit Shah will review the organisational situation in the State during his one-day tour. The party top brass, who had held ‘Mo Booth Sabuthu Majboot’ programme in Ganjam, Khurdha, Jajpur, will focus on Balasore, Bhadrak and Kendrapara districts this time.
Shah had addressed two mega rally in Bolangir and Kalahandi districts in April.
