Bhubaneswar: Krushna Chandra Sagaria, who was recently expelled from Congress, will join the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) at a special programme in Bhubaneswar today.
“I will officially join BSP in presence of senior party leaders at a programme at Lower PMG,” said Sagaria.
Before being expelled from the party, he had resigned as MLA.
Earlier, Sagaria along with former union minister Srikant Jena were expelled from the Congress over anti-party activities.
Citing failure to provide justice to Kunduli gang rape victim, Sagaria had quit from the post of the legislator in November last year. He also created ripple in Odisha political scenario by alleging a secret deal between Congress and the BJD.
Congress had dismissed Sagaria from the party on disciplinary grounds on January 19, 2019.
