Cuttack: The results of the High School Certificate examination (HSC) was published at Board of Secondary Education (BSE) office today.
The overall pass rate is 76.23%, informed School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra in presence Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra and BSE President Jahanara Begum at the BSE headquarters in Cuttack.
The Minister also announced that as many as 1, 24,665 students have passed with 60% mark, while 1, 7515 students have grabbed A1 grade and 15,689 A2 grade. Likewise, 39,252 have scored B1 grade and 68,009 students have got B2 grade in the examination.
Patra informed further that Balasore has recorded highest pass rate with 88.15 percentage while Malkangiri district is in the lowest position having only 59.32 percentage.
Girls again outscored boys in the results. As many as 2,22043 girls have cleared the test while number of boys passed the exam is 2,16,305.
This year 4, 38,348 students have cleared the annual examination.
As many as 6,08,031 students had appeared for the annual HSC examination at 2,818 centers across the State which was conducted from February 23 to March 8.
Students can view their scores online by logging in to – www.bseodisha.ac.in and orissaresults.nic.in . They can also call to BSE help desk on 0671-2412060 and 0671-2412059 to know their results.
Results are also available on SMS. Students can text ‘OR10<space>roll number’ to 5676750. Similarly, the Board has also made arrangements to upload the OMR answersheets on www.bseodisha.ac.in at 2 PM.
