Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre here warned of rain accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning in many places across north and south Odisha on Saturday.
In a release, the centre said a trough line at 0.9 km above the mean sea level runs from a cyclonic circulation over east Rajasthan and adjoining north-west Madhya Pradesh to north interior Karnataka across Madhya Pradesh and Marathwada.
Under its influence rain will lash at one or two places in both north and south Odisha. Besides, rain accompanied with hailstorm is also likely to lash few places across districts like Kenonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul and Deogarh.
Besides, the coastal belts of the State will receive rainfall while the weather will remain dry in western parts of the State on Sunday.
Meanwhile, rain lashed many parts of the State, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack early this morning.
