Mukesh Ambani to invest Rs 3,000 cr, Birla 2 bn dollars, Chandrasekharan Rs 25,000 cr in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Business tycoon and eminent industrialist Mukesh Ambani today announced to invest an additional Rs 3,000 crore in Odisha.

He announced his investment plan while addressing the Business Leadership Summit in the 5-dy ‘Make In Odisha’ programme.

“Reliance and Jio are dependable partners in your Make In Odisha mission as well as and make New Odisha vision. Today Reliance has emerged as one of the largest inevestors of the State over last few years. Reliance has already invested Rs 6,000 crore in Odisha and today I am committing to invest an additional Rs 3,000 crore in our new business in Odisha,” Ambani said.

“Our investment philosophy has clear goal- to empower everyone in the march of development. Most of our investment is creating digital infrastructure.. For Reliance, Jio is not just another business. It is a mission to transform India, tro Transform Odisha.We have created and sustained 30,000 employments in last two years in the State,” The Reliance boss said.

He also announced to set up a mega sports centre to encourage the sports peronalities of the State as the Odisha has emerged as one of major sports hub in India.

Similarly, Kumar Mangalam Birla announed to invest 2 billion dollar in the State.

“Odisha remains one of our topmost investment destinations in the country. We expect to invest over 2 bn dollars here in the next two years. Beyond business we reach out to underprivileged people too”, Birla said during his address to the Business leaderswhip summit.

Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran said “Already we have made investments worth Rs 75,000 cr with the announcement of Kalinganagar expansion. Another Rs 25,000 cr will soon cross a total investment of Rs 100,000 cr in the State”.
