Naveen, Dharmendra conveys greetings on Int’l Women’s Day

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan conveyed their greetings and good wishes to all the women on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Thursday.

“Women’s empowerment is people’s empowerment. It is the cornerstone of all our initiatives. Happy #WomensDay to all,” tweeted Patnaik.

Pradhan also took to twitter to extend his wishes to all the women on the International Women’s Day, being celebrated across the world today to commemorate the movement for women’s rights.

“Women have the power to accomplish tremendous tasks when presented with the right opportunities. #PMUY is one small step towards ensuring ease of living, better health & empowering crores of women. Let’s pledge to empower more & more women this #InternationalWomensDay,” wrote the Union Minister on his twitter handle.

Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik sculpted a sand art dedicated to the HRH Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of Supreme Council for Women on the occasion in Bahrain.

“Greetings to all on the occasion of #InternationalWomensDay. Let’s reduce the gender gap and empower women,” wrote Pattnaik while sharing the images of his sand art on his twitter handle.
