Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department has predicted that the nor’wester will continue till April 9 in several parts of Odisha. The regional Met Centre said the temperature will hover less than normal under the influence of nor’wester during this period.
Parts of interior and coastal Odisha had experienced less temperature on Tuesday due to this phenomenon. Several parts of Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Jajpur, Ganjam had experienced rain on Tuesday. The weather department also forecast rain with wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph today in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Dhenkanal today.
The weather condition is likely to be changed after April 10, Met sources said.
