Bhubaneswar: The State unit of BJP will hold Jana Adalat (People’s court) in 21 lok sabha constituencies from today to hear people’s complains. The move aimed at sensitizing people regarding the misrule of State government.
At a press meet, State BJP vice president Sameer Mohanty said the ‘Jana Adalat’ will be held highlighting inefficiencies of the ruling BJD in the State. The party will target the State government over several issues with evidence in a week-long programme, he said.
The saffron party’s ‘Jana Adalat’ will conclude on Feb 17.
Mohanty said the BJP workers will videograph the hearing when people would ask the government about the development. The Judge will compile all the records and administered them the oath to change the government.
On the first day, the people’s court will be held in Puri, Berhampur and Kalahandi to corner the government.
Similarly, the programme will be organised on Feb 12 in Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Kendrapara.
The court will be organized in Dhenkanal, Nabarangpur and Keonjhar On Feb 13, the venue will be in.
On February 14, Bargarh, Cuttack, Kandhamal will hold court while in Balasore, Koraput and Sundergarh, the court will hear people’s complains on February 15.
Similar hearing will be conducted in Bhadrak and Balangir on February 16 and Bhubaneswar, Jajpur and Jagatsinghpur on February 17 .
