Cuttack: The private secretary to Chief Minister, V K Pandian again landed in trouble after Bharatiya Vikash Parishad filed a PIL against him in Orissa High Court alleging that he had extended undue favour to a NGO- ‘Mana Trust’- owned by his relative to provide food under MDM scheme in three districts and Aahar scheme in 17 districts in Odisha.
Nine others have also been made party in the petition which prayed the court seeking an inquiry by CBI or a sitting judge of High Court. The petitioner also sought cancelation of agreement of the concerned organisation.
The petition alleged that Pandian had showed undue favour to the organisation during his tenure as Ganjam Collector. The further stated that the NGO was entrusted with the job of providing food without any tender.
