Pulwama terror strike: CM Naveen talks to Odia martyr’s families; Dharmendra expresses grief

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today expressed deep condolence to the families of two Odia CRPF jawans who got martyrdom in the terrorist attack in Pulwama of Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday.

The Chief Minister also talked to the members of the bereaved families over phone and assured them. He directed Health minister Pratap Jena and Finance minister Sashi Bhushan Behera to visit their families and console them.

The CM also observed one minute silence prayer at his office in Secretariat.

Patnaik also tweeted that he was grieved over the death of Odia jawans- Prasanna Sahu and Manoj Kumar Behera from Odisha. May their souls rest in peace, Patnaik tweeted.

Similarly, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan took to tweeter to expressed condolence to the families of Odia martyr. “Their sacrifice will not go in vain”, he tweeted.

Talking to news agency ANI, Pradhan said “Pakistan is trying to destabilise the country. The nation respects their sacrifice. The country will always be indebted to the security forces. Their sacrifice won’t go in vain. The country will give them befitting reply”.
