Bhubaneswar: Former Koraput MLA Krushna Chandra Sagaria today said he is ready to fight election against chief minister Naveen Patnaik in anywhere in Odisha.
Soon after joining Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), the former legislator said if his party supremo wants, he is ready to contest against the CM in the upcoming elections.
“If BSP president Mayawati allows, I am prepared to contest against CM Naveen Patnaik from any assembly constituency he contests in the upcoming polls,” Sagaria said while addressing a gathering at the Mishran Parva.
BSP state in-charge Dharamveer Singh said the party will contest from every constituency in Odisha. Mayawati will campaign for the party candidates in the State, he added.
Notably, Sagaria had resigned from the State Assembly citing injustice to Kunduli rape victim, later was dismissed from Congress over alleged anti-party activities.
