Bhubaneswar: The stage is set for the celebrations of Utkal Divas on April 1 by the Kalinga Association for Protection of Culture and Heritage (KAPOCH) in a grand way at the Baramunda Ground here.
Sufi singer Kailash Kher will be the star attraction at the celebrations and regale the audiences with popular Hindi numbers along with his musical band at the event to be inaugurated by Union Petroleum and Natural Gas and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmednra Pradhan at Baramunda Grounds.
“Famous Bollywood singer Kailash Kher will be the centre of attraction of this show. Bollywood fame along with his troop will perform in the cultural programme,” said KAPOCH chairman Sangram Keshari Paikray.
On the occasion, the Union Minister will felicitate many Odia talents for their achievements in various fields.
Odia Swabhiman Pradarshani depicting glory of Odisha will be showcased. A photo exhibition on Odisha’s culture, heritage and Odia folk art will also be organised to mark the Utkal Divas.
