Bhubaneswar: In a bid to lure investors, Odisha unit of BJP has planned to organise ‘Odisha Parva’ in Surat of Gujarat, where around seven lakh Odias are enagaged in different sector to earn livelihood.
The party with help of an NGO will organise the event for two days in the first week of September where the culture of Odisha will be showcased, informed Union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan who will be a [part of the event. Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani is also scheduled to attend the programme.
Commenting on the Odisha government’s move to attract investors, Pradhan ridiculed the chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. “He (Patnaik) is a big gun. So, he can invite big business honchos. As we are very small, we will invite small investors to invest in Odisha,” Pradhan said.
