Bhubaneswar: The leaders sitting in State Capital will be denied party tickets and only those have a good organisation in grassroots level will be given priorities to contest election, clarified OPCC chief Niranjan Patnaik today.
At a meeting with the presidents and working presidents of 11 organisational districts under PCC working president Pradeep Majhi, Patnaik said president will be appointed at all zilla parishad zone which will be considered as a block. The appointment process will be over by end of June.
Similarly formation of booth committee will end by July 10. Meeting will be convened fortnightly in zilla parishad zone level and the ZP level presidents will submit progress report to the PCC president.
Pradeep Majhi who was present in the meeting admitted that some leaders are displeased over party affairs. There are internal disturbances in 3-4 districts including Koraput, which will be sorted out soon, he added.
Similarly, the DCC presidents have been asked to submit report on their preparation to handle the booth level organisation, Patnaik said.
