Bhubaneswar: Buoyed by his party’s landslide victory in recently concluded State assembly election, Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has intensified his efforts to cobble up a Federal Front minus Congress and BJP. In the latest development, KCR will meet Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on Sunday and also call on his West Bengal counterparts Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata in the following day in this regard.
During his visit, KCR will hold discussion with the BJD chief regarding his plan to cobble up a new political entity to take on BJP and Congress in Centre.
After meeting the two leaders, KCR will have separate meetings with former Uttar Pradesh chief ministers BSP chief Mayawati and SP president Akhilesh Yadav.
He is also scheduled to visit Puri and offer prayers to Lord Jagannath during his two-day visit.
After the electoral victory on December 11, he had stated that a consortium of regional parties may emerge soon.
