Water leakage from roof of Jagamohan in Puri temple

Puri: The servitors of Sri Jagannath Temple today expressed displeasure after they spotted water leakage in the Jagamohan, whose repair work had been concluded recently by the Archaeological Survey of India.

The appliqué hung inside the Anasara altar has become wet due to water leakage

The ASI had informed the Odisha High Court in March about completion of repair work of Jagmohan (prayer hall) at Jagannath Temple in Puri.

In an affidavit submitted to the court, the ASI mentioned that Jagamohan was ready for devotees’ entry. It had told Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to allow devotees inside the Jagamohan facing sanctum sanctorum.
