Cuttack: After one and a half month in the hospital bed, Reemarani Sahu, the survivor in the sensational wedding gift blast in Patnagarh of Bolangir was discharged from SCB Medical College and Hospital today.
The department of Plastic Surgery where she was undergoing treatment today confirmed her discharge after clearance from ENT and Ophthalmology departments.
Soon after coming out of the hospital ward, she said she has trust on Crime Branch. “The accused has not yet been nabbed. I hope the probe agency will reach the criminal soon. I will meet the Chief Minister again if required,” she said raising suspicion on the courier organisation.
Reema’s father also expressed displeasure over Crime Branch’s failure to nab the criminals. “We will meet CM again and demand CBI probe into the incident if required,” he said.
The CM had ordered the Crime Branch to investigate the matter after Bolangir police failed to make any breakthrough. However, the Crime Branch is still roaming with empty hand even though it had received some vital clue regarding the parcel sender.
Reema was critically injured while her husband Soumyasekhar Sahu and his grandmother were killed in the wedding gift blast on February 23. The incident took place only 10 days after their marriage.
