The Jai Maa Bhavani Trust celebrated its ninth annual Seva Ratna award ceremony at the Odisha Research Center in Jaydev Bihar, honoring eminent physician Dr. Swaroop Patnaik with the prestigious first Seva Ratna Award of 2026.
The distinguished event was graced by chief guest Padma Shri Adwaita Gadanayak, guest of honor and eminent cardiologist Dr. Satyanarayan Rautraya, and special guest BJP Yuva Morcha President Abhilash Panda, alongside the institution's editor, Narayan Mohapatra.
During the ceremony, the Utkal Shri Samman was conferred upon Ramanarayan Pujapanda, Nishikant Mishra, and cultural researcher Banoj Ray. Additionally, the Seva Ratna Samman was presented to several notable achievers, including Dr. Shubham Mohanty, Dr. Manoj Sahu, and vocal artist Shashank Shekhar, for their outstanding contributions across various fields.
The vibrant celebration concluded on a traditional note, entertaining guests with a festive cultural program, Raja Doli, and a traditional serving of authentic Odia pitha and paan.
