The Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025, scheduled for today, has been postponed indefinitely due to alleged paper leak allegations. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, announced the decision late last night, leaving over 75,000 candidates disappointed and uncertain about the future course of action.

75,403 in-service primary teachers had applied for the exam, which was to be held across 193 centers in 30 districts of Odisha.

Although the BSE hasn't confirmed any breach, rumors of a paper leak have been circulating on social media, with screenshots of alleged exam papers and answers popping up on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.

The exam was scheduled for today, with Paper 1 for teachers of classes 1-5 and Paper 2 for teachers of classes 6-8.

Many candidates had prepared extensively for the exam and were looking forward to taking it today. The sudden postponement has caused widespread frustration and disappointment.

Aspirants are now eagerly awaiting a formal statement from BSE clarifying the timeline and safeguards moving forward.
