The Odisha Police Crime Branch has taken charge of investigating the death of a woman student from Fakir Mohan Autonomous College in Balasore, who allegedly set herself on fire on campus. Director General of Police (CID-CB) Vinaytosh Mishra has appointed CAW&CW Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Iman Kalyan Nayak to lead the probe, assisted by Inspector Panchali Rout.
