CHSE bars smart wrist-watches into exam hall

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the Matric question paper viral, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has imposed some restriction on students.

Earlier the Mass education secretary had restricted wrist watch into the exam hall. The Council today clarified that ordinary watch will be allowed while smart wrist watches having camera facility will not be allowed.

Three-tier squad system has been made to check mal practice activities. If a candidate wants to leave the exam hall before the scheduled time, he cannot take the question paper outside. He has to submit it to the invigilator, CHSE president AK Patnaik said.

Similarly a candidate can’t take the question paper to the toilet and can’t remain more than two minutes.

The question paper will reach the centres at 9.30 am, he added.
