The panel will investigate the charges levelled by Sagaria and submit report to PCC president Niranjan Patnaik. The PCC president will examine and observe the report and take action accordingly.

Sagaria’s statement of a nexus between Narasingha and Naveen Patnaik has created furore in the Congress party. The matter was also raised in the Assembly by the BJP which created ruckus forcing the House stalled.

On the other hand, Mishra rubbished such allegation. He said he would work for the Congress till last. Mishra also clarified that he has neither sought any help from Naveen Patnaik on any matter nor supported him unless it is a state interest.
