Bhubaneswar: Intense heat wave conditions continue to prevail across Odisha with 12 towns today recording temperature above 40 degree Celsius.
Jharsuguda recorded the highest temperature of 44.4 degree followed by Hirakud which registered 44.1 degrees C. Similarly, mercury touched 43.6 degrees C in Sambalpur and 43.5 in Bolangir town. Thermal town Talcher had a maximum temperature of 43.1degrees and Angul had 42.7.
Sundergarh sizzled at 42.5 and Bhawanipatan at 42. The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack had a maximum temperature of 37.3 and 37.5 respectively.
