Kejriwal targets Congress, BJP & BJD; asks people to vote for change in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Maintaining that after 70 years of independence, crores and crores of people are still poor in the country and most are from Odisha, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday came down heavily on the BJP, Congress and BJD saying that they are looting the country.

Addressing a rally organised by Samajika Naya Abhijan at Lower PMG Square here, Kejriwal said that though Singapore, Germany and Japan have witnessed massive growth even getting independence much after India, but the country is still lagging behind on many fronts.

He blamed the Congress, BJP and BJD and their leaders for the poor performance of the country despite having all types of resources.

Urging people of Odisha for a change Kejriwal said, “You are mistaken that BJD is ruling Odisha. No, there is no opposition in the State. BJD, BJP and Congress are ruling the State. In every five years, they come to election just to project themselves to fight separately. But all are settled much earlier.”

“If you (to the crowd) are happy with the coalition Government, then it is ok. If not come for a change like Delhi which has changed massively in last four years,” said the Delhi Chief Minister.

“Four years back people of Delhi want change. Congress got zero and BJP got three. And AAP got 67 out of 70 seats. And, Delhi has changed. The performance of Government schools, hospitals and offices are on a high. Electricity is being provided for Re 1 per unit. Results of Government schools are witnessing 10 per cent better than the private schools,” added Kejriwal.

The Delhi Chief Minister also invited the people of Odisha and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to visit Delhi schools if they want to see the change.
