Bhubaneswar: The school students in Odisha will soon read robotics science as the State government has decided to introduce robotics in the course curriculum of select schools across the state. Initially, it will be introduced in 10 model schools in different districts. The drone technology will also be a part of the curriculum.
Informing this, School and Mass Education secretary Pradipta Mohapatra said “The government received a proposal from a Bengaluru-based company. Accordingly, we will go ahead with the proposal. The course will be taught in 10 model schools of various districts in initial phase and subsequently it will be extended to all other schools,” Mohapatra said.
This will help children develop their skills on robotics and artificial intelligence from an early age, he added.
