A bomb explosion occurred at the residence of Ajay Nayak, a bamboo seller in Cuttack, late Friday night. The incident took place in Subhadrapur under the Sadar police station in Cuttack district. Fortunately, no casualties or property damage were reported.
According to reports, unknown miscreants threw a bomb at Nayak's house while he was asleep. The Sadar police IIC and SP of zone 4 promptly arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. The miscreants fled the area after hurling the bomb.
