Similipal National Park to reopen from Nov 1

Bhubaneswar: The Similipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district will reopen for tourists from November 1. The National Park and Tiger Reserve remained closed for visitors since June 17 due to monsoon season.

As per the rule, a maximum of 35 four-wheeler vehicles would be allowed to enter the park area from Kaliami check gate and another 25 vehicles from Pithabata entry point between 6 am and 9 am everyday.

For entry into the Similipal National Park, the tourists will have to collect the entry pass from the booking counters at Pithabata and Kaliami gates between 6 am and 9 am with an undertaking that they will abide by the rules of the Forest Department.
