In a shocking video has gone viral, showing a reporter being swept away by floodwaters while covering the disaster near Chahan Dam in Rawalpindi. The journalist, whose channel is unknown, was standing in neck-deep water when the current suddenly increased, causing him to float away. The incident has sparked both praise for the reporter's courage and criticism for risking his life.


Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has declared a rain emergency in several districts, deploying Rescue 1122 and other departments to safeguard citizens.

Authorities are working to distribute aid and support affected communities, with China, the UN, and other international organizations offering assistance.
