In a remarkable achievement, 9 transgender students from Bhadrak's Charampa block have passed the matriculation examination, overcoming social barriers and obstacles along the way. These students, who faced discrimination and challenges due to their gender identity, pursued their education with determination and support from their community and organizations like the Maayam Foundation.
Notably, the students overcame societal barriers to study at Sarojini Sanskrit High School in Charampa, with continuous classes and dedicated preparation. With the help of the government and their teachers, they were able to succeed despite the challenges they faced.
Results:
- All 9 students passed the matriculation exam, with 7 securing grade B and 2 securing grade C.
