The world-renowned Bali Jatra, a historic trade fair, will commence on November 5, coinciding with Kartik Purnima, and continue until November 12 this year. Key decisions were finalized in a meeting chaired by the Cuttack District Magistrate.
This year Bali Jatra will continue for 8 days. It will start from November 5 and will end on November 12.
This year stalls will spread over in lower graound area (Tala Padia) as per High Court directions; upper graound area is designated for parking.
The grand fair will spread over 60 acres in lower ground (up from 34 acres previously).
