At least 14 fishermen got trapped in the middle of the sea after two boats stranded due to engine failure on Thursday morning in Odisha.
According to information, one boat went to the sea for fishing. During fishing, the boat suddenly broke down, and later it was being towed by a another boat.
However, the rope of the second boat which went to rescue the first boat torned and hence both the boats got stranded there.
It is to be noted that heavy rain is continuing across the state today due to the effect of low pressure.
Efforts are being made by the Coast Guard and Marine Police to rescue the trapped boat with the help of other boats.
