Marking 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' at the OSAP 7th Battalion parade ground on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi honored the Iron Man’s legacy of national integration. Simultaneously participating virtually in the national parade led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, the CM emphasized national unity and patriotism.

A major highlight of the address was the Chief Minister praising the Odisha Police for eradicating Left-Wing Extremism. Declaring Odisha completely free from Naxalite and Maoist violence, he noted that areas once gripped by fear are now secure. This robust law-and-order environment, he stressed, has catalyzed a new industrial wave, drawing domestic and global investments over the past two years.

Recalling freedom fighter Dr. Harekrushna Mahtab’s pivotal role in state integration, CM Majhi urged citizens to transcend caste, creed, and language boundaries, prioritizing their identity as Indians and Odias to build a prosperous state. The event saw attendance from senior officials, including Home Department ACS Hemant Sharma and Intelligence Director R.P. Koche.
