The Orissa High Court has adjourned the hearing regarding the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) election petition to November 20, directing the petitioner to file a supporting affidavit.
The legal challenge was initiated by Lalitendu Vidyadhar Mohapatra, a member and Sunrise Club representative, who cited the expiration of the current office-bearers' tenure and delays in scheduling new polls.
Meanwhile, the OCA's Special General Council unanimously decided that the upcoming association elections will take place only after the India versus Sri Lanka T20 International match, which is scheduled for December 24.
