Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Odisha today to celebrate the first anniversary of the Mohan government in the state. He will attend a program at Janata Maidan, and security measures have been intensified in the capital city.


Preparations for the Visit

- Half-Day Holiday: Government offices and revenue and magisterial courts in Bhubaneswar will observe a half-day holiday due to expected crowding and traffic congestion.

- School Closures: All schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack have been declared closed to avoid congestion.

- Security Deployment: 133 platoons of police force, along with Central Armed Forces and special agencies, have been deployed for the Prime Minister's security.


Traffic and Safety Measures

- Traffic Restrictions: Traffic arrangements have been restricted from the airport to Janata Maidan.

- Fire and Rescue Teams: Fire and rescue teams have been deployed, considering the rain.

- Security Arrangements: Tightened security measures are in place to ensure a smooth visit.
