The Maidalpur police in Nabarangpur successfully foiled a major robbery attempt today, arresting five suspects red-handed. The breakthrough occurred during a routine patrol when officers intercepted the gang while they were allegedly plotting a heist in the Maidalpur area.
Nabarangpur Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Aditya Sen confirmed the arrests during a press conference held today at the Maidalpur police station.
While five suspects were apprehended, several other accomplices managed to evade capture and remain at large.
During the operation, police seized a Bolero vehicle, a motorcycle, five mobile phones, and various weapons. ASP Sen stated that the accused would be presented in court as the investigation continues.
Also present at the briefing were SDPO Satyajit Kandelkel and IIC Jugak Shabar. Police are actively searching for the absconding suspects to fully dismantle the criminal network.
