The Southwest Monsoon has officially and completely withdrawn from Odisha and the rest of the country, bringing the main rainy season to a close.

With this transition, attention has shifted toward the onset and potential impacts of the Northeast Monsoon, which typically becomes active over South India around this time.

While the Southwest Monsoon conventionally delivers widespread rainfall between June and September, its exit paves the way for the Northeast Monsoon's influence over regions like Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and the southern coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, local weather patterns across Odisha are expected to stabilize. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), dry weather will predominantly prevail across most parts of the state in the coming days, though residents should monitor upcoming forecasts for any localized atmospheric updates.
