In a heartwarming tale of determination and inspiration, a mother-daughter duo from Tamil Nadu's Tenkasi district has made headlines by clearing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG exam together. Amuthavalli Manivannan, 49, a physiotherapist by profession, and her daughter Uytsha have secured MBBS seats in government medical colleges.
Amuthavalli was inspired by her daughter's strong determination to crack the NEET exam. Seeing Uytsha's dedication, she decided to take the exam herself.
Both mother and daughter prepared for the exam together, using the same study materials. Uytsha, a CBSE student, was taking coaching classes, and her mother studied alongside her.
Both Amuthavalli and Uytsha have secured admission to government medical colleges, with Amuthavalli set to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.
Amuthavalli found the syllabus challenging due to the significant difference from her school days. However, her daughter's motivation and support helped her overcome the obstacles.
