A woman went missing after jumping into the Kharasrota River from the Rajghat bridge Under Japur Sadar police staion limits in Jajpur district, Thursday.
The missing woman's identified is not ascertnaited yet.
However, she is a resident of Madhuban of Krushnapur area.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman kept her scooter, shoes, and mobile phone off the bridge before jumping into the river.
The woman was working as an Anganwadi supervisor.
The reason behind the women's death is yet to be known.
On being informed, local police reached the spot and started an investigation.
