Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday dedicated 184 Smart Classrooms in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) in Cuttack and Khurda districts. This will benefit more than 12,000 students.
“These 184 smart classrooms, equipped with modern technology will build a better learning environment and simplify the learning process for students. Digital classrooms will also help in imparting the much needed new techniques of learning and education,” said Pradhan after dedicating the project at KV-1 here.
Besides, the Union Minister laid foundation stone for two Kendriya Vidyalaya to come at Mundali in Cuttack and also at Kutra in Sundergarh district and launched the composite tourist facilities at Khandagiri and Udayagiri under taken by PSUs of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for conservation and restoration of cultural heritage through videoconferencing.
The Union Minister highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Digital India’ campaign launched by the Central Government for making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology.
