Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) today said the day and night temperature will soar from next week.
IMD sources said night temperature in most parts of Odisha had recorded above 10 degrees Celsius.
The weather will remain dry for the next four days till February 15 as there is no significant synoptic system over Odisha. However, there will be light to moderate rain or thunder shower at one or two places over interior Odisha while thunder storm accompanied with lightning and hail is likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur on February 16.
Though the night temperature will have a marginal fall due to the rain, it will remain a little above the normal temperature in the coastal Odisha. However, the day and night temperature in all parts of the state will witness a steady rise after February 16 onwards,” Mishra added.
