A tragic incident occurred in Hariharpur village, Angul district, where a retired veterinarian lost his life due to a bee attack.
The incident also left over 25 people injured.
Notably, a beehive in the village was disturbed by smoke from a cooking fire, causing the bees to swarm and attack people. Bipin Pradhan, a retired veterinarian, was seriously injured and later declared dead at the district headquarters hospital.
The incident has spread a shadow of grief in the local area, with many people still recovering from their injuries.
