A tragic incident occurred in Kapasira, Sonepur district, where a worker lost his life due to electrocution while working on a bridge construction site.
The deceased, Tankadhar Tarjan, a resident of Ul village, Badagaon Thana, Sundargarh district, was part of a construction team building a bridge at Gorhandi in Dunguripali Thana Kapasira.
According to reports, Tarjan was electrocuted while working on the bridge, and his condition rapidly deteriorated. Fellow workers rushed him to the Dunguripali Community Health Center, where the doctor declared him dead.
The Dunguripali police promptly responded to the incident, seized the body, and sent it for autopsy. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the electrocution.
